What is the Ordination Mass?
The Catholic Priestly Ordination is one of the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church known as, Holy Orders. It takes place during the Mass where the candidates for the Priesthood lay their lives down, both physically and spiritually, and are conformed to Jesus Christ the Eternal High Priest. Then the bishop lays his hands on the candidates heads and anoints their hands with sacred chrism; where they are infused with the Holy Spirit, and commissioned to serve the church like the apostles.
Attendees can expect a beautiful liturgy filled prayers, hymns, and the anointing of the newly ordained priest, marking the beginning of their ministry. This event is not only a milestone for the candidate but also a joyous occasion for the entire Catholic Church.
"The hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, everyman to his home, and will leave me alone; yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me. I have said this to you, the in me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:32-33

Have you seen with the eyes of your soul how
He looks at you with love?
He longs for you…
He thirsts for you…
He loves you always even when you don’t feel worthy…
He is the one who always accepts you.
– SAINT TERESA OF CALCUTTA
